Maciej Kowalczyk gave an invited talk at the EOSAM 2025 European Optical Society Annual Meeting, which was organized in a beautiful city of Delft in Netherlands during 24-28/08/2025. The talk entitled “Single-cycle mid-infrared frequency combs” was delivered in a focused session “Mid-Infrared Photonics: Materials, Devices, and Applications”.

Afterwards, Maciej visited the Ultrafast Spectroscopy of Correlated Materials Department in the Institute for Molecules and Materials at Radboud University in Nijmegen. After giving a seminar, he visited impressive labs of Prof. Alexey Kimel and Prof. Dima Afanasiev, FELIX free-electron laser and discussed possibilities to apply our ultrafast mid-infrared lasers based on Cr:ZnS laser for studying light-matter interactions.
