Part of our team had an opportunity to participate in the Polska Konferencja Optyczna 2025 (VIII Polish Conference in Optics) held in Rzeszów.

Both Jakub Jaworski and Dorota Tomaszewska-Rolla presented a poster and took part in a poster pitch session. Jakub presented on offset frequency stabilization in a Cr:ZnS laser (“Stabilizacja częstotliwości obwiednia-nośna impulsów lasera Cr:ZnS”). Dorota demonstrated laser absorption spectroscopy using antiresonant hollow-core fiber and a Cr:ZnS laser (“Szerokopasmowa spektroskopia gazów w niskiej próżni z wykorzystaniem światłowodu antyrezonansowego z rdzeniem powietrznym i lasera Cr:ZnS”).

Also, during the conference, the “English-Polish dictionary of optical terms” made its debut. Our postdoc Dorota Tomaszewska-Rolla was on board of the dictionary editorial team!
