One of our group members, Karolina Suliga, received funding for her grant proposal in Preludium 24 call, funded by National Science Center (NCN). The proposal titled „Research on the application of the electro-optic effect to reduce phase noise of an optical frequency comb based on a solid-state laser”, aims to find new materials and geometries of electro-optical modulators to apply in mid-IR solid-state lasers. This fusion of material and laser studies, hopefully, will significantly improve the stability of mid-IR optical frequency combs. Huge congrats Karolina!
