Maciej Kowalczyk gave an invited talk on „Generation and applications of single-cycle mid-infrared laser pulses” at Quantum Optics XI organized at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (1-5/09/2025).

Quantum Optics is a very important conference organized in Poland every 4 years, for the last 40 years. During first editions it enabled Polish scientific community to meet the researchers from the other side of the iron curtain. Now, the world is much more opened and connected, but Quantum Optics is still a highly renowned forum with speakers this year including Prof. Anne L’Huillier, Prof. Jun Ye and many others. Being on the same stage was a great pleasure and honour! Thank you!
