Ultrafast chromium lasers for field-resolved spectroscopy of biological systems

Our Team is an official Partner Group of the Max Planck Society.

Within this five-year long programme we are closely collaborating with the Group of Prof. Ferenc Krausz at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching (Germany). In the project entitled „Ultrafast chromium lasers for field-resolved spectroscopy of biological systems”, we develop stabilized Cr:ZnS lases producing femtosecond pulses. They will be used by the Prof. Krausz’s Team for field-resolved spectroscopy towards cancer diagnosis.

There are only 88 active Partner Groups worldwide, and only two are operating in Poland. You can see the whole list here.
